Face Mapping incorporates elements from Ayurvedic principals and Traditional Chinese Medicine to create a tailored skincare routine, a facial treatment and facial exercises to help improve skin health and combat the signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles and loss of volume and tone).
A detailed diagnostic face map will be done to pinpoint skin type, skin concerns and any areas that require more attention. With this information a facial treatment will be done with tailored skincare from Neal's Yard Remedies, Gua Sha tools and targeted massage techniques.
You will be shown facial exercises to create a facial fitness routine to do at home to really target those areas of concern on the face.
A follow up appointment will be organised to make sure you are getting the best out of your recommended skincare and exercises.
Contraindications
As well as the common contraindications that may prevent a treatment from happening (infections, coldsores, wounds, etc), there are a few others to consider when booking a Facial treatment.
• Face lift surgery - cannot treat until after 3 months of surgery
• Botox injections - the nature of a facial may reduce the effects of Botox, treat after 3 weeks of injections
• Fillers - treat after 3 weeks week of fillers being inserted
The treatment usually lasts approximately 60-75 minutes and is priced at £48 per session.
This is a mobile service where I will come to your own home with my equipment to perform the treatment. This will help to eliminate stress and provide a relaxing treatment without the need to travel afterwards. I cover most areas in North Shropshire, including Oswestry, Telford, Whitchurch, Market Drayton, Wem, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. I also use a treatment room based on Belle Vue Road in Shrewsbury on request.
